Hi Emelie - thanks for joining here on Save The Bluefin. Your voice counts when it comes to trying increase awareness about the plight of the bluefin. I just posted a wonderful video of large bluefin in the wild feeding. You can see their grace and command of their environment - and to me well worth the effort to save. How did you find out about this site and the bluefin's struggle?

that's awesome Emelie. The world needs more smart people investing time into fishing ethics and our duty as guardians of the environment to no let ourselves literally eat through the biomass of a magnificient fish like the giant bluefin. As far as activisim is concerned I am really just a fishermen who loves the water and everything in it - but as social media and the web have exploded I turned to technology to make a difference - and it has made a difference as conversations with people like yourself are happening often. So if I can be of any assistance to you please let me know. I think technology is a key factor going forward for addressing issues with demand awareness and also management. Not sure if you saw the new google earth ocean plugin but its awesome. outside of this site my day job is in widget and the internet so if technology is part of your focus please don't hesitate to ping me.
