The EU pushes to kill more bluefin behind closed doors at ICCAT

Embarrassing, unbelievable, shocking, disbelief, sadness and a host of other words come to mind as Greenpeace and others leak the updates that the EU is looking to yet again ignore the warnings from their own scientists and continue to kill more bluefin in 2010. The Times Online has a good synopsis of how the meetings in Brazil are going this weekend here. A decision will likely come Sunday night and anything short of a moratorium will draw a global outcry.
