Bluefin Tuna Release!
Tags: Bluefin, Release!, Tuna
Hi John, the angler was the person of the left site, called Peter Pöllmann from Austria (I'm the other person) and we where fishing in the Adriatic sea, but not from Italy, we started from marina Jezera (Croatia). The tag stick was made by me, but it's only a very simple broomstick ;-) We tagged a lot more Tuna, but without taking the fish out of the water and no video available. And we didn't measure or weight the fish to safe time for releasing, so only estimated (maybe 80-90lbs). Peter wanted to have a picture and his wife made the video with a small pocket cam :-)
Hi John, today I got a phone call of a friend, who told me that one of my tagged Bluefins from last year have been caught again yesterday ;-)))
Tag-Nr.: HM 93607 has been caught nearly on the same place in the Adriatic sea and the weight of the fish was around 10kg more than last year (estimated 100lbs last year and now 121lbs).
